In 2026, we’re not just launching an event—we’re establishing identity. Every movement needs a symbol, and for our first year, we’ve chosen the axolotl. Deeply rooted in Mexico, the axolotl represents resilience, uniqueness, and the ability to adapt and move forward. Just like our community. When you see it on your shirt, your bib, and your medal, understand that it’s not just design—it’s representation. It stands for persistence, growth, and the strength we carry in our story.

But this is bigger than one year. We’re not thinking short-term—we’re building long-term. Seven years. Seven mascots. One story. Each year will introduce a new mascot, representing a different culture and a new chapter in this journey. By 2032, those who have been part of Unidos 5K from the beginning won’t just have medals—they’ll have a collection of history. Seven races. Seven identities. One shared experience. And the people who start now will always be able to say, “I was there when it began.”

What people will see on race day is music, energy, and celebration. What they won’t see are the long nights, the pressure, and the work it takes to build something from nothing. That’s why we’re offering early registration at $20 for the month of April 2026. This isn’t about exclusivity—it’s about invitation.
