Legacy; the future.

How it started

A New Legacy for Indiana’s Latino Community: The Rise of Legado Chingón

In a state where Latino communities are growing but still too often overlooked in leadership and long-term economic development, a new organization is changing what empowerment looks like. Founded by community leader Hector Morales, The Chingón Legacy is rising quickly by blending culture, entrepreneurship, and development into one connected ecosystem designed to build real, lasting opportunity.

Unlike programs that offer one-time support, The Chingón Legacy is built for the long game—helping people grow from adolescence to adulthood and from first ideas to business ownership. Its pathway starts with a high school entrepreneurship program, continues into adult coaching and business-launch support, and extends into real investment through grants, microloans, and funding opportunities.

As Morales puts it: the goal isn’t just to serve people—it’s to help families build stability, confidence, and generational wealth.

Culture and care are central, not add-ons. The organization’s signature Latino Parade & 5K celebrates heritage, health, and Latino-owned businesses while creating visibility and civic pride.

Powered by a modern, automated digital system, families can access help quickly and privately—because, in Morales’ words, this is about legacy: not me, but ours.
