Real Stories

In September, I started looking for help to renew my DACA and met with an attorney, but the cost was more than I could afford. Someone referred me to Chingón Legacy, and they helped me organize my paperwork and complete my renewal packet at no charge. They were clear that they are not a law firm and do not provide legal advice—but their administrative support made the process feel possible. I’m grateful for the guidance and the care they showed me.

Sandra reached out to us worried about her daughter, Amanda, a Latina ninth grader. Amanda’s anxiety and depression had become overwhelming. She wasn’t eating well, spent most of her time alone in her room, and slowly began pulling away from her mom. Sandra felt like she was losing her.

Sandra contacted Chingón Legacy looking for guidance and support. We helped connect her family with a Latina mental health professional—someone Amanda could relate to and feel understood by.

That same week, the clinician identified urgent safety concerns and referred Amanda to a higher level of care after Amanda shared she was experiencing suicidal thoughts. We’re proud of Sandra for speaking up and grateful we were able to help make a timely connection so Amanda could receive support when she needed it most.

PartyLab started as a great idea with a lot of passion—but it needed structure to grow. Through coaching and hands-on support, PartyLab turned the concept into a clear business plan with defined services, a step-by-step booking process, and a pricing model that made packages and add-ons easy for clients to understand.

We also helped PartyLab develop a professional brand, including a polished logo and consistent look across marketing materials. With the right vendor connections, reliable event partners, and clear pricing and coordination, PartyLab moved from “figuring it out” to operating like a real, scalable business.
